When he returned, he has discovered he did not have his key. He had left whole set of keys in a pocket of the trouser he had wom before going out. He went downstairs to the caretaker's flat and explained exactly which had happened. The caretaker is sympathetic, "I'm sorry. l have no spare key to your flat". He said, "I used to have one. but someone borrowed it once and never returned it for me. But never mind, I have a friend who understand these things. I'll phone him and he'll come. He is a specialist in opening looked doors without keys. I'm sure he'll be able to help you". He did, either. Later, I found out that he was a fame house breaker.
